ART CLASSES in Sherborne for adults who are currently experiencing mental health challenges.

Our next course :

Tuesday 4th June 2024

ART-LIFE are running MENTAL WELLBEING ART CLASSES in Sherborne for adults who are currently experiencing mental health challenges.

Our art course runs in central Sherborne. Classes are held once a week on Tuesday’s 10am-1pm. The course runs for 6 weeks and is for adults over the age of 18, if you are interested in attending the course, please email us

We provide a safe, non judgemental space where our trained art tutor uses positive creativity to support the mental wellbeing of each adult who joins us.

Art Life uses art and expression to help people living with mental health challenges, such as depression, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, grief, SAD, loneliness and low self esteem.

The sessions are led by our professional art tutor. You will get the chance to work with a wide range of materials, techniques and develop your creative skills whilst building social connections and peer support, no previous artistic experience is necessary, complete beginners are welcome.

Learn to use POSITIVE CREATIVITY for improved mental wellbeing.

By focussing on new skills with others who care and understand, we can start to increase confidence, self esteem and mental wellbeing.

Classes are friendly, positive with no ‘right or wrong’.

All materials are provided. We ask for a suggested contribution of £10 per session. Each session is 3 hours.

When times are tough, art helps us to see the world differently.

It can also help us feel relief from our inner turmoil and can inspire us to make changes.

This is not art therapy, it is a non judgemental, non clinical art group. Simply a place where you can come and feel supported and safe whilst learning and exploring your artistic expression.

For all enquiries and more information please email:
We will respond to your enquiry with further information and an application form. Spaces are limited and we may not be able to offer all applicants a place on the course.
